Polyacrylamide (PAM) is a linear organic macromolecule polymer. It is also a kind of macromolecule water treatment flocculant product, which can be adsorbed.
Suspended particles in water act as links and bridges between particles, making fine particles form larger flocs and speeding up sedimentation.
This process is called flocculation, because of its good flocculation effect PAM as a flocculant in water treatment and is widely used in sewage treatment.

1PAM can make suspended substances act as flocculants by electroneutralization and bridge-building adsorption.
2. It can act as an adhesive through mechanical, physical and chemical action.
3PAM can effectively reduce the friction resistance of the fluid. Adding trace PAM to the water can reduce the friction resistance by 50-80%.
4: PAM has thickening effect under neutral and acid conditions, and PAM is easy to hydrolyze when its PH value is more than 10. Thickening will be more obvious when the structure is semi-reticulate.
