It is mainly used in intumescent fire retardant coatings and thermosetting resins (such as polyurethane rigid foam, UP resin, epoxy resin, etc.), and it can also be used for flame retardancy of fibers, wood and rubber products. Because the APP has high molecular weight (n>1000) and high stability, it can also be used as the main effective component of intumescent flame retardant thermoplastic, especially for the electronic parts to reach UL 94-V0 PP.
