According to the Website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on October 9, from January to August of 2020, the national plastic products industry completed the output of 46,126,000 tons, down 13.3% from the same period last year.

In August, the national plastic products industry completed output of 6.566 million tons, down 3.0 percent year on year.

From January to August, the accumulated operating income of plastic products manufacturers in China reached 11.132.96 billion yuan, down 5.1% from the same period last year. The total profit reached 69.63 billion yuan, up 17.1% year-on-year.
